W.A.Khan, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch is a wonderful piece of design and engineering that offers a fearsome performance in a sleek and classy chassis.Lenovo got a lot of things right with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon, and all the advantages carry over to the Carbon Touch: it's light, gorgeous, functional, and powerful enough for every realistic ultrabook task.Lenovo takes its solid 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon and upgrades it with Windows 8 and a touch screen, while keeping the excellent keyboard.The X1 Carbon Touch's built-in 45Wh battery lasted just five hours in our rundown test, which involves looping a movie off the local disk with WiFi on and the brightness fixed at 65 percent. Granted, touchscreen Windows 8 laptops generally don't fare well in this regard (the best lasted 5:32) but even then, a five-hour runtime is slightly troubling.
But, The touch screen makes the lid thicker, and the touch pad can be finicky at times.
